Framingham renewable energy company Ameresco has entered a $173-million energy savings performance contract to expand on-site generation, strengthen reliability and enhance resilience at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia.

Energy efficiency company Ameresco, headquartered in Framingham, has partnered with Wells Fargo to develop and install  approximately 30 megawatts of new solar generation at corporate and retail locations in seven states.
