Some of the region’s top economic experts and business leaders will descend on the AC Hotel by Marriott Worcester on Feb. 29 to share their outlooks on today’s economic climate, as WBJ hosts its annual Economic Forecast Forum in partnership with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The state Senate unveiled new employee salary ranges, an expanded career ladder, and additional employee perks Wednesday in an effort to better recruit and retain staff members.

Despite concerns among the manufacturing sector and the pessimistic viewpoint of Central Massachusetts businesses, the state’s economy continued to grow.
