The median price of a single-family Worcester County home hit $263,000 last month as state home prices hit an all-time high for the month, according to real estate experts.
Even with a long period of economic growth and redevelopment through significant stretches of downtown, Worcester has not been spared from some broader troublesome trends.
The median sale price of a Worcester County home sold in October decreased from September, but the price of $275,000 was a 6.7-percent increase over October 2017.
Continuing a similar trend of supply and demand, single-family homes in Worcester County and the state continue to rise in price as the number of homes sold declines.
