UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester announced its public service consulting division, Commonwealth Medicine has launched a new Center on Child Wellbeing and Trauma in partnership with the Massachusetts Office of the Child Advocate, according to a Thursday press release.

A UMass Chan Medical School research team was awarded a four-year, $12.3-million grant from the National Institutes of Health to study and develop a treatment program for adults with opioid-use disorders.
