Longtime Vibram Corp. executive Mike Gionfriddo is retiring as president and CEO at year's end, the North Brookfield footwear company announced Tuesday.

Many members of the military, industrial workers, and U.S. Olympic team athletes all benefit from products made by Vibram, a manufacturer of high-performance soles.

This year marks 100 years of U.S. manufacturing for high-performance soles maker Vibram, and the beginning of a five-year, multimillion dollar campaign that will support innovation for the next 100 years.
