Construction to begin at $45M Edgemere revitalization this summer

The abandoned Edgemere Drive-In on Route 20 in Shrewsbury is set to become a $45-million mixed-use project. The Shrewsbury Planning Board approved Edgemere Crossing at Flint Pond on the 68-acre site. It includes a Market Basket and 250 apartments.

bankHometown saw deposits grow by 286% over the past decade

Oxford headquartered bankHometown led Central Massachusetts lenders in deposit growth over the past decade, according to the latest data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. From March 2010 through September 2019, bankHometown deposits grew by 286% to $682 million, which was before its merger was complete with Millbury Savings Bank.
