YOU Inc., a Worcester child welfare nonprofit, has named a longtime executive as its new interim president and CEO.
Paula Aiello, the executive vice president and CFO at YOU Inc. for 29 years, is taking the place of Kristine Bostek, the agency's leader since February 2017, YOU Inc. announced Tuesday. Aiello, a graduate of Bryant University in Rhode Island, serves on the board of the United Bank and its charitable organization, and is a member of the Central Massachusetts Financial Executives Association. She has also held finance-related committee roles for the United Way of Central Massachusetts and the Worcester Boys and Girls Club.
Bostek joined YOU Inc. from from Fallon Health, where she was vice president of senior care services. She has also held roles at the insurer Unum and UMass Medical School. She is now returning to Fallon, where she will serve as vice president for the company's Summit ElderCare program.
Aiello's appointment was one of five new leadership promotions at the agency, which has a $34 million budget and more than 600 full- and part-time staff across Central Massachusetts.
Anne Fine, a YOU Inc. employee in various roles since 2005, was promoted to COO from vice president of behavioral health. She is a graduate of Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton.
Kevin Kittredge was appointed interim CFO after having served as controller for the past six years. Kittredge, who has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Assumption College and a master's in accounting from Northeastern University, was previously a supervisor and senior accountant at the Westborough accounting firm AAFCPAs.
Kristin Mayotte has been appointed vice president of advancement, education and community engagement, from her prior role as vice president of strategy and program development. Mayotte, a graduate of Nichols College and Assumption College, has held program management and executive leadership roles at YOU Inc. for 26 years.
The new interim controller is Eric Cole, who has been with YOU Inc. for more than 20 years, including most recently as assistant controller and payroll manager. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Nichols College.
