Worcester child welfare organization YOU, Inc. has been nationally accredited through a New York-based council.
The Council on Accreditation (COA) recently evaluated YOU, Inc.’s programs, services, management and administration, and the organization completed a nearly perfect review, YOU, Inc. said in a press release earlier this week.
The child welfare and behavioral health nonprofit agency scored 96 percent in a review of more than 1,300 standards and scored a passing rating of 99.6 percent, YOU, Inc. said.
The process included written evidence of compliance with COA standards and onsite reviews and interviews with trustees, staff and clients.
