Graduates from several Central Massachusetts colleges make more money than those from most other schools in the nation, according to a report from PayScale.com.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute bachelor’s degree graduates had a median starting salary of $61,200, which places them seventh in the nation, according to the report. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology topped the list at $69,700 for students entering the workforce.
Holy Cross graduates rank 12th in the nation in salary after they have accumulated 10 years of experience. The median salary for those “mid-career” Holy Cross alums was $110,000.
