Worcester Polytechnic Institute will offer a five-month, seven-session set of workshops on Six Sigma, a business management strategy for improving workplace efficiency.
WPI has teamed with the Marlborough Economic Development Corp. to offer the classes in the MetroWest community. The classes will begin in October and run through February.
Participants who complete the course will receive a Six Sigma green belt certification, which is the base-level standard for people who have received the training.
