Worcester Polytechnic Institute‘s Bioengineering Institute will present the sixth annual Biotechnology and Bioengineering Corporate Forum on March 22.
The focus of the on-campus event will be how universities can help foster grwoth at startup biotech and medical device companies.
The keynote speaker will be Morey Kraus, a 1991 graduate of WPI who is now the chief technology officer at PerkinElmer/Specialty Diagnostics, which purchased ViaCord, a company he launched through the Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives incubator program in Worcester.
Other presenting companies include CellMosaic, GlycoSolutions, EpigenDX, Nemucore Medical Innovations, Tarpon Biosystems and VivoPath.
The program runs from 1 to 4:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the WPI Campus Center Odeum.
