Worcester Polytechnic Institute President Dennis Berkey renewed WPI’s collaboration agreement with Huazhong University of Science and Technology during a recent trip to China.
The collaboration is one of several WPI has with universities throughout China. The arrangements allow WPI students and faculty to work with their Chinese counterparts on a variety of curricula, including robotics, environmental engineering, supply chain management and lean manufacturing.
During the trip, Berkey visited sites where WPI students and faculty are working with Chinese students and faculty on projects sponsored by large companies with operations in China.
