WPI Part-Time MBA Program Tops In Northeast

The part-time MBA program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is the best in the northeast and No. 9 in the country, according to a BusinessWeek magazine survey.
According to WPI, the part-time MBA program also ranked No. 5 in the country in student satisfaction and No. 4 in academic quality. Respondents to the BusinessWeek survey gave WPI MBA faculty an A+ and gave the curriculum an A.
The WPI program was rated the best for people who are changing jobs, and 40 percent of WPI's MBA students reported a salary increase as a result of graduation from the program.
The suvey was sent to 9,274 part-time MBA students in 81 programs. Programs were also judged on academic quality based on test scores and other criteria and on whether respondents said their program was "completely" responsible for them achieving their goals.
