Worcester Polytechnic Institute will host an open house on its fundamentals of biomanufacturing certificate program on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The information session will be held at WPI's Life Sciences and Bioengineering Center at 60 Prescott St. in Worcester, which is part of the Gateway Park development.
The certificate program is an eight-week evening accelerated program. It was created in partnership with several companies, including Abbot Laboratories, which has operations in Worcester, Bristol-Myers Squibb, which has operations in Devens, and Shire Human Genetic Therapies, which has operations in Cambridge.
The open house is free, however those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to Amanda Maurer Keighly at 508-831-4179 or maurer@wpi.edu.
