Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s fully-online electrical engineering program was ranked the eighth on a list highlighting 30 schools that put education before their bottom line.
The rankings, from Nonprofit Colleges Online, recognize programs at schools with good reputations and lower-than-average tuition costs.
In WPI’s program, ranked eighth on the list, students can complete coursework entirely online and specialize in analogy/RF design, digital design, power systems engineering and systems engineering. Tuition is $25,344, according to the list.
The University of South Carolina’s master of engineering in electrical engineering program earned the list’s top spot.
