World Energy Promotes Insider To COO

Martha Danly has been promoted to COO at World Energy Solutions.
Worcester-based energy management firm World Energy Solutions recently named a new COO with 30 years of experience in the high-tech sector.
Martha Danly was promoted to the job from chief product officer, a position she held since joining the company in September.
In her new position, Daly oversees company-wide operations, product strategy, product marketing, software development, IT and the delivery of the company's online energy platform, the World Energy Exchange.
Danly has held leadership positions at a range of startups in Silicon Valley that focused on online trading, cloud computing, clean-tech, social media, consumer video and ad networks. She also helped launch two e-commerce platforms.
"I have known Martha since 1988 and believe she is one of the sharpest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with," said CEO Phil Adams.
