World Energy Solutions Inc. of Worcester has helped Rockland-based convenience store chain Tedeschi Food Shops negotiate electricity contracts for the next three years.
World Energy said it analyzed energy usage at the 157 Tedeschi stores in Massachusetts and created RFPs to sell the accounts to electricity providers through competitive auctions.
The energy company said the new contracts, which run from Feb. 1, 2011 to Jan. 31, 2014, could save Tedeschi $400,000 compared to its prior rates.
