Worcester’s third medical pot dispensary to open Tuesday

Worcester will add its third medical marijuana dispensary next week as Mission Massachusetts was authorized Wednesday by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission to open on Tuesday. 

The company has said the 24,000-square-foot Worcester dispensary and cultivation facility in a warehouse at 640 Lincoln St. will be the company’s largest out of its eight sites in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois and Arizona.

The dispensary joins The Botanist on Pullman Street and Good Chemistry on Harrison Street as the only medical dispensaries in Worcester, with the latter opening up its doors to recreational customers last week.

Mission has applied for recreational licenses with the Cannabis Control Commission, but the agency has not yet acted on the application.
