Worcester public defender Michael S. Hussey and Worcester judge David Ricciardone have been appointed to the Massachusetts Bar Association‘s newly formed Task Force on Peremptory Challenges.
Hussey has worked for the Committee for Public Counsel Services Public Defender Division since 1985 and has been the attorney-in-charge of the Worcester office since 1994.
Ricciardone is an associate justice in the Worcester Division of the District Court. He served as an assistant district attorney in Worcester County and then as a sole practitioner before being appointed to the bench in 2004.
Both Hussey and the Ricciardone will be focused on looking into jury selection issues.
