Worcester startup LocalPorch announced over the weekend it will donate all of its 3-percent commission made on Mondays in February to arts nonprofit Creative Hub Worcester.
LocalPorch is a virtual craft market allowing consumers to purchase wares made by local makers and artisans in Central Massachusetts.
The donation to Creative Hub – a nonprofit dedicated to building an arts community space in Worcester – is designed to help grow the ecosystem of private artists and makers in the region.
LocalPorch does not disclose its sales figures, so it would not estimate how much the donation would total, said CEO and Co-founder Kim Sullivan.
