The Worcester Together Fund, a joint effort between the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the United Way of Central Massachusetts, in conjunction with the City of Worcester, has raised more than $6.5 million, the City of Worcester announced on Tuesday.
The money raised for the fund goes toward supporting the needs of area organizations working with communities disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Â
The deadline to apply to the second recovery grant funding phase is June 8.
Awards granted typically range from $25,000 to $100,000, and include consultative services to help organizations navigate recovery.Â
