Worcester Together announces $242K in second round of grant funding

The joint Worcester Together operation announced on Tuesday it will distribute $242,000 in grant awards during the group’s second funding round.

The money will go toward organizations working with populations and individuals heavily impacted by the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Worcester Together, a collaboration between the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, United Way of Central Massachusetts and the City of Worcester, did not specify individual grant amounts. 

Recipients include: Advocates, Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, Building Futures Inc., Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Family Health Center of Worcester, Genesis Club House, Harrington HeatlhCare System, Open Sky Community Services, The CASA Project, Youth Opportunities Upheld LLC, Heywood Hospital, Mission E4 and the Montachusett Opportunity Council Inc.
