Worcester State College has named Charles Cullum as its new provost and vice president for academic affairs.
Cullum is currently the associate provost and dean of graduate studies at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. He is scheduled to begin in his new position at WSC July 1.
Kutztown University, which is between Reading and Allentown, has about 10,000 students. WSC has about 3,500.
Cullum is an experienced budget and policy manager with a Ph.D. in English from Temple University.
