Worcester nonprofit The Venture Forum and networking community VentureMeets have teamed up to put on a Dec. 8 event at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
The Venture Forum event at the Rubin Campus Center is open particularly entrepreneurs and inventors, who can present their ideas to different audience learn how to best convey their idea or business plan.
VentureMeets then will host a workshop presenting different communication strategies and product demos from local startups.
The featured speaker at the event will be Rebecca Liebman, a Clark senior who founded her own company, LearnLux, a site that teaches personal financial skills.
The event is free for VentureMeets and Venture Forum members and $15 for others.
