The City of Worcester is seeking volunteers who can serve a three-year term on one of five ad-hoc committees tasked with distributing $146 million in federal and state pandemic recovery aid.
The funds will be distributed to community organizations, small businesses, and individuals, and are particularly intended for low-income communities and communities of color.
Committee assignments will include:
- Affordable housing trust fund;
- Business assistance;
- Community projects/programs;
- Creative economy/cultural plan;
- Mental health programs.
