Neal Rosenblum Goldsmiths Gallery, a custom jewelry shop owned by two brothers on Park Avenue in Worcester, will close its brick-and-mortar location after more than 40 years in business, co-owner Neal Rosenblum announced in a press release Monday.
The storefront on 261 Park Ave. will close Dec. 24, but online consultation and special projects will continue to be available, the release said.
Oriola Koci, owner of Altea’s Eatery, which neighbors Rosenblum’s to the left, purchased the 5,500-square-foot jewelry store from the brothers in June for $533,000. Koci also owns the Livia's Dish restaurant on Main Street.
Koci declined to comment on her plans for the future of the property.
Customers will still be able to contact the jewelry brothers for services via email.
"The past two years have demonstrated that we could continue to do our work, just in a different way, and we’re excited for this next, lighter, chapter,” wrote Neal, who owns the business with his brother Chuck.
