Worcester Public Libraries close following COVID exposure

All Worcester Public Library branches closed effective 7 p.m. on Wednesday, following exposure to COVID-19 disease, the City of Worcester announced Wednesday.

Some 13 library staff members are quarantining because of the exposure.

All seven libraries are being closed out of an abundance of caution, according to the city. They are scheduled to reopen to their regular schedule beginning Monday.
