The Castle Metals industrial building at 70 Quinsigamond Ave. was sold for $1.5 million on Tuesday, allowing Worcester company Lutco to expand its manufacturing operations.
The 65,000 square foot industrial building was sold by A.M. Castle Metals Company, a supplier of standard and specialty metal products, according to Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, the broker. It is adjacent to an existing Lutco facility, close to the company’s headquarters at 677 Cambridge St. and will expand the company’s operations, according to a statement from John Stowe, president and CEO of the company.
Lutco is a manufacturer and global supplier specializing in unground ball bearings, flangettes, stamped sprocket assemblies, custom bearing designs, metal stampings and precision-turned components, according to the company’s website.
