Worcester Printer Goes Transparent

Worcester-based printer LVI says allowing clients to decide which jobs should be automated and which should be done by hand will help the company operate more efficiently.

LVI, which until January was known as Lavigne Inc., calls the new system an "open book relationship" with customers. Christopher D. Wells, the company's CEO, said the new, more open system will allow the company to share more information with customers, standardize and automate more printing processes and be more accountable.

LVI does commercial printing of sales and marketing materials for a variety of industries.
