A 10,000-square-foot office building in Worcester, partly leased to Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., sold for $1.65 million in a deal closed Jan. 21, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
The property at 475 Pleasant St. was owned by Douglas Haddad, who owns Hair Systems International with his wife, Joan. The couple opened the hair replacement business in 1969 and have been operating from the Pleasant Street building which they own. Haddad was not available for comment on Monday.
The office building was sold to Ghana Wesley Methodist Church, which is located at 340 Main St. in Worcester.
Spectrum Health Systems leases 2,500 square feet of the building, according to real estate database CoStar. It is located across the street from Planned Parenthood - Central Massachusetts Health Center.
