Major Bloom, a cannabis company with provisional manufacturing and retail licenses to operate an adult use dispensary at 76 Millbury St. in Worcester, is seeking a food license from the Worcester Planning Board.
An application before the board, slated for review on Thursday, requests a common victualer license for use between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., seven days a week.
Major Bloom plans to primarily use the license to cover cannabis infusion processes, for products like infused pre-rolls, edibles and infused drinks and tinctures, according to co-founder and president Ulysses Youngblood.
The company, an economic empowerment applicant, also has a provisional license for an adult-use dispensary in Attleboro. Major Bloom, which fashions itself as an impact-driven cannabis lifestyle brand, currently runs an online storefront specializing in branded apparel.
