Worcester’s Allegro MicroSystems will be transfering 33 jobs from its Worcester and Manchester, N.H. facilities overseas, according to a report from the Telegram & Gazette.
The Telegram is reporting that in a memorandum, the company’s president and CEO, Ravi Vig, said a division located in Worcester will be phased out with the work set to be transferred along with some other work currently covered by Worcester and Manchester, NH employees.
Allegro did not return calls Friday morning from the Worcester Business Journal. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
