Worcester library series focuses on entrepreneurship

Through a free, four-part series on entrepreneurship, the Worcester Public Library is offering a way to explore becoming your own boss.

All four sessions will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Banx Room of the main library at Salem Square and begin this month.

“Small Business Startup Basics” starts Thursday, Oct. 15, on the topic, “Is Entrepreneurship Right for You?”

The other three sessions of the series will be held on Wednesdays. The Oct. 21 topic is “Test Your Business Idea.” The Oct. 28 session is “Key to Free Business Resources.” The concluding session on Nov. 4 covers “Create Your Business Plan.”

The library is teaming with Central Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board, the city of Worcester, the Center for Women & Enterprise and the U.S. Small Business Administration to present the program.

Registration, which is required, is available at www.worcpublib.org. For more information, call the library at (508) 799-1655.
