Rick Porter, president of Worcester tech support service Cinch I.T., is organizing a 100-mile challenge to support childhood cancer nonprofit Why Me & Sherry’s House.
The 100 Mile Ruck March Challenge encourages local business owners to hike 25 miles a day and camp out at local breweries throughout Worcester, according to a press release. The challenge runs from July 22 to July 25, and will include stops at Milkroom Brewery in Rutland, Stone Cow Brewery in Barre, and Oakholm Brewery in Brookfield.
All proceeds will go to Why Me & Sherry’s House, a Worcester nonprofit established in 1985 to provide a support system for children battling cancer.
Cinch I.T. has locations in Massachusetts, Georgia, and Michigan, and was voted 2021’s top I.T. service provider by WBJ readers in the Best of Business awards.
