Worcester insurance agency hires commercial manager

Worcester’s Marsh & McLennan Agency has brought on Annette Oakes to lead the company’s commercial lines division for the New England region.
Oakes will take on the position of associate director, commercial lines manager for the insurance agency that is a subsidy of Marsh and operates independently out of Worcester at its office at 100 Front St., the company announced Tuesday.
Oakes previously worked at Worcester-based Hanover Insurance in varying capacities including small commercial sales manager, business development manager for the northeast region and national sales director for Hanover Healthcare. She holds an master's degree in business administration from Plymouth State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Daniel Webster College.
