An 87,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at 15 Coppage Drive in Worcester was sold on Tuesday for $9.3 million.
An Australian-based manufacturer, TriCab Group, sold the building to an entity registered to Steve Goodman of Boston developer GFI Partners, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
Tricab Group, which makes flexible cable, will remain at the location, according to Worcester real estate broker Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, Inc. Brian Johnson, Drew Higgins, and Jim Umphrey of Kelleher & Sadowsky facilitated the deal.
The facility was built in 1980 and includes 12 acres of land. The property was sold by the City of Worcester in 2011 for $400,000, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
GFI Partners bought another Worcester County property in September at 31 Jytek Road in Leominster. Kelleher & Sadowsky also brokered that deal.
At another one of its North Worcester County properties, the Boston developer has proposed a 366,000-square-foot industrial facility on the Fitchburg, Lunenburg border.
