Worcester home health agency buys Westborough firm
Prestige Adult Foster Care, a Worcester home health care agency for seniors and adults with chronic illnesses or disabilities, has acquired the Westborough home health agency Around the Clock.
The two agencies do similar work but don't have the same clients.
Prestige works with patients who are on Medicaid and is funded by MassHealth, while Around the Clock uses private pay for its services.
Around the Clock will keep its name. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Prestige Adult Foster Care, which covers Worcester County, was founded in 2015 by Highness Meena, a Tanzania native who came to the United States in 2003. She previously served as chief operating officer and later vice president at Prestige Health Care Services of Worcester, a company she helped establish.
