Branded Realty Group of Worcester, helmed by real estate developer and franchise owner Robert Branca, purchased two more Dunkin' location properties for a combined $4.4 million.
A company affiliated with Branded Realty Group purchased a property at 255 Main St. in Rutland for $2.7 million and another at 607 Pleasant St. in Paxton for $1.7 million, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds, which recorded the deals on Aug. 31.
The seller was Winchester-based Wolcott-Marshall, Inc. Wolcott-Marshall bought the development lot in Rutland in 1999 for $250,000, and the development lot in Paxton for $158,000 in 1998.
Branca owns and operates more than 700 Dunkin' franchises in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York, according to a 2022 article by Franchise Business Review. He is the co-chair of Dunkin' Brands Government Affairs Committee and is a member of the board of directors for the International Franchise Association in Washington D.C..
Beyond his franchise empire, he redeveloped the location of Worcester’s historic El Morocco restaurant into a 72-unit apartment complex and a former Buick dealership at 72 Shrewsbury St. into a retail and restaurant property featuring Volturno Pizza Napoletana and Wormtown Brewery.
