A Worcester firm has paid $19.1 million for the Stop & Shop-anchored Country Plaza Shopping Center in Grafton.
The plaza, at 100 Worcester St. (Routes 122 and 140), also includes an Anytime Fitness, a Subway, Supercuts and King & Queen Cleaners. It includes roughly 74,000 square feet of retail space.
The new owner is First American Realty, a Worcester property management company whose portfolio also includes Shrewsbury Crossing, a Route 9 plaza with a Stop & Shop, a Bed, Bath & Beyond, a Bob's Stores and a Staples.
The sellers were limited liability corporations tied to EDENS, a Columbia, S.C., real estate owner and developer that also owns the South Bay shopping center in Boston.
The sale closed Oct. 30. A CVS in the plaza was not included.
The 12-acre site last sold for $3.2 million in 2007. It was last assessed bu the Town of Grafton for $10.8 million.
