A Worcester realty firm, which bought a vacant office building on Worcester's Gold Star Boulevard last year, has now added the building's parking lot to its portfolio.
The buyer, K&L Realty, paid $785,000 for 3.7 acres surrounding the former Reliant Medical Group building it bought in June.
K&L Realty paid nearly $2.6 million for Reliant's former office building at 139 Gold Star Blvd., which totals 52,000 square feet. Reliant Medical Group moved out of the building was part of a reshuffling of medical office space in Central Massachusetts for the Worcester company.
The seller of the parking lot surrounding the building was Small Justice LLC, which is registered to Richard Goren, a lawyer in Newton. The sale closed Jan. 10.
K&L Realty didn't respond to a message seeking comment on the transaction. The firm is advertising the office building for availability.
The Gold Star Boulevard site was one of several at Reliant in which operations were switched to a larger office building at 5 Neponset St. next to the Greendale Mall. Reliant also opened a new office further down Gold Star Boulevard, with an address of 11 Distributor Road, taking over a former Habitat for Humanity space. Both of those offices opened in 2018.
