Worcester Firm Announces New Business Division
The Worcester merger and acquisition firm George & Company on Thursday announced the opening of a new division specializing in brokerage and sales to small- to middle-market business.
The new division, Central Business Brokers, will assist with the sale and appraisal of local businesses, according to a statement. Jeffrey M. Lefebvre, vice president of George & Company, will manage the new division.
Central Business Brokers was formed in response to rising demand for brokerage services in Massachusetts, the company said.
"We are very excited to introduce Central Business brokers to the local community," said Christopher R. George, president of George & Company. "We know that this new division will be increasingly beneficial to the local business owners who are seeking to expand or divest their business portfolios."
