The industry trade group Massachusetts Water Works Association, based in Acton, on Monday announced Jeffrey Faulkner, a senior project manager at Tighe & Bond, Inc.’s Worcester office, as its new president.
MWWA is a membership organization focused on advancing the drinking water profession through education and advocacy.
Faulkner’s career in water engineering and management spans 22 years with a primary focus on drinking water supply, treatment, distribution, and storage.
At Tighe & Bond, a multi-disciplinary consulting firm with headquarters in Westfield, Faulkner specializes in wastewater engineering in Worcester.
Faulkner has been a member of MWWA since 2003. He co-chaired the Education Committee and has served on the board of directors since 2017. He also received a MWWA Special Achievement Award and the WIlliam H. McGinness award for accomplishments in the water works profession.
MWWA’s previous president was Charles Dam of the Manchester-by-the-Sea public works department, according to association’s website.
