A developer is proposing demolition and redevelopment on a site next to Seven Hills Foundation & Affiliates’ new facility on Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester, according to plans submitted to the City’s Planning Board.
Under the proposed plans, a 6,500-square-foot storage extension at 135-139 Gold Star Blvd. would be demolished and replaced with an 11,060-square-foot building. K&L Worcester LLC, an entity registered to George Tonna at 2 Foster St. in Worcester, is the owner of the property and the applicant proposing the redevelopment.
The proposed building would be zoned for business, per the proposal.
The existing storage building is unoccupied and located to the north of the Seven Hills Child & Family Behavioral Health center. The newly constructed, 25,000-square-foot health facility at 135 Gold Star Blvd. opened in the fall and includes more than 250 parking spaces.
K&L Worcester LLC has owned the property since 2019, when the entity purchased it for $2.6 million, according to the Worcester County Registry of Deeds.
