The founders of Worcester-based Mass Dental Insurance this week announced a new web service that allows employers to compare dental plan rates from major Massachusetts carriers.
By filling out a form, employers will receive multiple quotes for comparison, allowing them to select cost-effective plans for their employees, according to a statement from the company. Through its online service at www.massdentalinsurance.com, Mass Dental Insurance intends to become a leading dental plan provider for Massachusetts employees, according to the statement.
"Today it has taken a lot of work for business in Massachusetts to get dental quotes from multiple dental insurance providers serving Massachusetts," said co-founder Bill Randell.
Randell said the web service costs nothing, and rates are identical to those offered to customers by insurance companies directly.
Randell is the co-founder of Advantage Benefits Group Inc., a Worcester-based company that specializes in managing employee benefits, as is Vanessa Costa, who also co-founded Mass Dental Insurance with Randell.
