The latest list from the Princeton Review gave Worcester’s Clark University, College of the Holy Cross and Worcester Polytechnic Institute high marks for their return on educational and financial investment for students.

The Princeton Review's 2016 Colleges That Pay You Back book is a list of 200 colleges that offer a combination of academics, affordability and career prospects. Academics, cost, financial aid, graduation rates, student debt and more were analyzed for the ranking and associated book, according to the Princeton Review.

WPI was ranked 33rd on the list of 200 colleges that pay you back. The school also ranked 10th for best career placement and 18th on the list of best schools for internships.

In addition to making the list of 200, Clark University was ranked third among schools for students wishing to make an impact, behind University of North Carolina at Asheville in the first spot and Minnesota's Macalester College in second place. This ranking evaluated student surveys on community service opportunities at their school, student government, sustainability efforts and on-campus student engagement. It also took into account PayScale.com’s percentage of alumni from each school that reported having high job meaning.

Holy Cross made the list of 200, but schools outside of the top 50 are not given a numerical ranking.
