World Energy Efficiency Services, an energy efficiency services company based in Worcester, has launched a new solar division that will carry clients from the planning stage through final installation.
The new unit will be run by Dan Gorrell, who most recently led operations at a residential solar company, out of the company’s Cromwell, Conn. offices and Worcester headquarters.
“Solar technology and pricing have improved significantly over the last five years, making solar an attractive option for businesses and municipalities looking for more control over their energy use, generation and cost,” Dan Gorrell said in a statement.
Founded in 2015, World Energy Efficiency Services specializes in the planning and execution of energy-efficiency projects spanning lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, and building management systems and controls, primarily servicing small- and medium-sized businesses, as well as municipalities. According to the company this will make it even more of a one-stop-shop for customers.
