The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the promotion of three long-time employees as well as a new business development associate.
The Worcester Chamber announced the promotion of Sharyn Williams, Christina Andreoli and Sherri Pitcher in a release sent out Friday morning. Williams, who has served as the director of marketing and communications, has been promoted to vice president in charge of marketing, communications, programs, and events. Williams will oversee the Chamber’s 200+ events annually with the support of Eleanor Houbre, programs and events coordinator for the Chamber.
Christina Andreoli, who was named the president of Discover Central Massachusetts in July 2015, will also serve as the Chamber’s executive vice president. Discover Central Massachusetts is the region’s state-designated travel and tourism agency. The new agency is responsible for marketing and promoting the tourism assets of the region’s 35 cities and towns.
Sherri Pitcher has been promoted to the position of senior director of business development for the Chamber. She has been responsible for recruiting new businesses to the region through connections with commercial real estate developers, brokers, and companies who are expanding or relocating. She will now oversee creating a sales plan to recruit new members to the Chamber and oversee sales efforts for the organization’s new member sales associate, The Chamber also announced the hiring of Kristen Luna, who joined Chamber in September to recruit new members to the largest Chamber in the Commonwealth and support the events of the Webster Dudley Oxford Chamber of Commerce, one of five affiliate partners.
