Mark Worthington, a Worcester attorney with offices at 34 Cedar St., has been elected president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
The non-profit association helps lawyers, bar organizations, and other professionals who specialize in enhancing the lives of people with special needs and people as they age. Previously, Worthington served as president-elect and as treasurer for the organization, and he has been a member of the board since 2000.
NAELA has more than 5,000 members across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the U.K. The Massachusetts chapter is the largest, with almost 600 members, and is the premier organization of elder law attorneys in the Commonwealth.
Worthington is an attorney licensed by the state of Massachusetts, and practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning and elder law.
