Greater Worcester is ranked among the top 25 life science research talent pools, according to a report from Dallas real estate services and investment firm CBRE Group, Inc.

The June report places Worcester among larger cities and urban areas, like Boston/Cambridge, which ranked first, as well as Washington, D.C./Baltimore and the San Francisco Bay Area, which ranked second and third, respectively.
Worcester was ranked 15th in the report, just after Atlanta and before Dallas/Fort Worth.
Nationally, life science research jobs grew 79% between 2001 and 2021, according to CBRE, whereas other jobs in the U.S. collectively grew 8%.
