The Worcester Red Sox will use more than 300 part-time, seasonal employees to fill a variety of positions, including parking attendants, ushers, cleaning crews, concessions and merchandise staff, the team announced on Thursday.
The WooSox plan to hold a two-day virtual job fair on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21, from noon to 4 p.m., to provide prospective employees with information about job opportunities at Polar Park, which is slated to open in April.
The job fair will provide information about jobs in the facilities maintenance department, for videoboard and camera operations, as well as mascot actors.
City Manager Edward Augustus said in a statement the positions, expected to be filled by locals from the Worcester area, will add to the charm and appeal of the ballpark.
